Passion, Motivation, and Wisdom

Teachers who have to kind of figure out who they are and understand themselves and uncover their own discomforts and misinformation.

I had no idea how to support a family through this, but I knew I needed to learn. I learned a lot from this case and I learned it's not all about you you gotta take your ego outta it.

  1. I liked Lousie Derman-Sparks quote also about figuring out who we are and the misinformation we received growing up. This is why we have so many people confused about life itself because of the misinformed information given to us from generations to generations and no one wants to stop and correct the information. Now is the time for us to take a long look at where we are, where we came from and where we are going in order to bring about a change to our new generation.

  2. The first quote by Sparks speaks to me about reflection. When we look inward, discomforts and possible misinformation beliefs are revealed. This is one way for us to truly grow.

  3. Sorry, I had to leave my comment for your resources here. I like how you put the resources off to the side, they are available without having to search through your blog. Early Childhood Webinars is a good staff development resource, a lot of the teachers at the center I work at utilize it.

  4. Hi Mary, I really like how your resources are available along side your blog posts and how you have a "report abuse" link available as well. Professionals and individuals should have a way to report abuse when they suspect something is wrong with a child. Thank you for sharing!
